Hi, I'm

Elizabeth Furtado

I'm a Software Developer @ ABSNE

Experienced in designing user-friendly solutions to bottlenecks and inefficiencies with JavaScript, Python, PHP, SQL and C#.

Past Projects

Multifactor Authentication

I developed a secure multi-factor authentication system from scratch using Javascipt, PHP, SQL, allowing users to reset their PINs independently instead of relying on HR. The system generated time-limited authentication codes valid for 24 hours, improving both security and user convenience.

Employee Onboarding

I created a structured database to store and manage employee records, replacing multiple spreadsheets, manual data entry and last minute computer set-ups. This new system allowed HR to quickly add new hires, automatically track onboarding progress and create the appropriate IT Tickets, and retrieve employee information efficiently, reducing delays and improving accuracy.

Resource Management System

I created a system that automatically grades laptops based on CPU, RAM, and hard drive size, making it easier to assign the right device to each employee. Previously, employees were often handed devices from the last person who left, resulting in mismatched specs. This new system streamlined the onboarding process, ensured employees received the appropriate tools for their roles, and minimized tech issues in the long run.

VoIP Management Tool

I built a VoIP management tool that lets us select a company’s name and automatically log in to their Zultys portal. Before this, we had to manually look up and enter login credentials every time we helped a client, which was slow and inefficient. Now, access is streamlined, saving time and reducing hassle.

Quote Management System

I created a quote tracking system for VoIP sales, replacing manual follow-ups and reducing missed deadlines. The system automatically tracked the progress of each quote, marking them as "Dead" if inactive for too long and stopping unnecessary follow-ups to the sales team. When updates were made, the IT department was automatically notified, which improved communication across teams.

Member Service Tracking

I built a service recipient system using SQL, JavaScript, and PHP, allowing nonprofit organizations to register recipients and assign them a barcode. Instead of re-entering their information at each visit, recipients signed up once, and their demographic data was securely stored. This made check-ins faster, especially for elderly recipients, and simplified reporting on service usage over time.
